We usually reply within two working days.
If you are reporting a problem, it helps enormously to include your device (for example iPhone 15), your iOS version, and what you were doing when it happened.
If it is a question that looks wrong, use the flag icon inside the app rather than writing here. The report carries the question with it, so you never have to reproduce it — but do write a line about what is wrong, because the report cannot be sent without one.
Common questions
Is TrickQuiz free?
Yes. The app is free, and advertising pays for it. None of it appears in the kids section, though.
Do I need an account to play?
No. You can start playing immediately and your progress is saved to the device. Signing in with Apple is optional, and only exists so you can carry your progress to another phone.
Which languages does it support?
14: English, Hungarian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Each has its own question set rather than a translation of another.
How do I challenge a friend?
Open Duels, tap "Challenge a friend" and send them the code. You both play the same twenty questions, whenever suits you — you do not have to be online at the same time.
I found a question with a wrong answer. What do I do?
Tap the flag icon on the question and tell us what is wrong. Reports are reviewed, and a question that turns out to be wrong is corrected or removed for everyone.
What are stars for?
In the daily quiz, every correct answer earns you a star. Answering a bonus question correctly earns a star. Every tenth correct answer in a row earns a star too. Trade them in for help when you are stuck: one star for a hint, one to take away two of the wrong answers, and two to reveal the correct answer. Help is not available in the daily quiz or in duels, where everyone is measured against the same score.
Is there anything for children?
Yes. There is a separate kids section with its own questions, a ninety-second timer, and no advertising at all.
How do I delete my account?
Profile, then Delete account, then confirmation in the alert that appears. Everything attached to the account goes with it. The delete-account page explains exactly what is removed.
